So, I know I've been a *terrible* deviantArt friend.

First off: THANK YOU to EVERYONE that favourited my work. It means so much to me, and I wish I could go through and thank everyone personally.

I'm in the middle of moving out of state, and I'm also trying to get my Etsy account up this week. SO OVERWHELMING.

Painkiller Studios is many things, and it is art in many forms.

In a nutshell? I focus on handmade fashion (often Harajuku and street-influenced), handcrafted jewelry, photography and anime-inspired illustrations.

My main influences are thus:
Anime, Harajuku, street fashion, Alice in Wonderland, Halloween, Gothic Lolita, haute couture, teenagers, dreams, nightmares, pharmaceuticals and playing dress-up.

I often model my own clothing/jewelry, and I always direct my photoshoots (even when I'm the model) and I always edit and photoshop my own images.

A lot of work goes into a photo - please don't think that because I'm the one getting shot that it's not still *my* artwork.

WHY SO MANY PICTURES OF ME?
It's easier/more convenient to model my own jewelry, and my sister's a photographer. =)
PLUS, there's usually a concept I have in my mind that I know how to act out on film to get the desired result.
